Sugarman

Sponsored on a health mobile project from Motorola. SUGARMAN is a glucose monitoring system for diabetic children which incorporates bluetooth modules. Taking a metaphor of the sugar cube the Sugarman represents itself as a sweet, non-invasive friendly way to measure blood sugar levels. The basic idea is to have a unit of the 'sugarcube' which has a camera technology of eye-glucose monitoring, which scans your eye and checks your blood sugar levels. It also has a basic touch screen LED screen to display the faces of sugarman and basic information of sugar levels. The unit goes into diverse accessories made of rubber and it can be inserted through a small slot on the back of the accessories, which come in different forms and color to choose by the user's taste. The front of these accessories are thinly manufactured so that the cube's LED screens could be seen as embedded light emits. These modules connect to the user's mobile phones, and interacts within the user interface with different ways incorporating the customized Sugarman character.
